In April 2020 the Virginia Clean Economy Act was passed. This set of laws is requiring 100% of Virginia's energy to be produced by renewables by the year 2045. In order for the utility companies in the state to be in compliance with the VCEA, solar farms and offshore wind will have to be built out.
This is going to be expensive.
So expensive that the utility companies are planning to finance the renewable infrastructure through everyone's electric bills by raising rates to not-yet-seen highs in Virginia.
You can avoid paying the rising rates and own your energy by going solar instead.
It may seem too good to be true, but here in Virginia you can go solar with no money down and it will cost you less than what you are currently paying! There are tons of perks and incentives toward going solar so long as you qualify!
